A difference of opinion can be an opportunity to find a completely new solution, one which is larger than the sum of the competing ideas. Being open to such opportunities requires listening beyond simply deciding whether we agree with the view being expressed, writes leadership development coach Karen Kimsey-House on Smartblogs.
