The Cannes Film Festival is rolling out the red carpet to the cinema industry this week. The renowned cinema event features high-profile film screenings, to be sure, but it’s also home to plenty of networking, deal making, and knowledge sharing. Unless they’re in the entertainment business, management accountants probably don’t often find themselves at industry conferences as glamourous as Cannes. But just like at Cannes, finance and management conferences can help boost careers through speaking engagements and savvy schmoozing.
