Andrew Harding, FCMA, CGMA, chief executive–Management Accounting for the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, receives CIMA’s award.

CIMA has been recognised by Hurun with an award honouring its contribution to strengthening the UK-China relationship through the promotion of professional education.

“The recognition reflects CIMA’s long-standing commitment to supporting the development of finance and business talent in China, while fostering deeper professional and educational collaboration between the UK and China,” a CIMA news release said.

Hurun is an organisation that promotes entrepreneurship through its research and rankings.

Over the past two decades, the release said, CIMA has worked closely with employers, educators, and stakeholders in China to promote globally recognised standards and future-ready skills, reinforcing the role of professional education in building sustainable economic connections and mutual understanding.

CIMA was part of a diverse group of award recipients that includes Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Liverpool FC, Octopus Energy, Tencent, Bosideng, and others — reflecting the breadth and depth of UK-China cooperation across industries.
