Exam notice - Sept 2011

 

The exams will be held on 22, 23 and 24 November. The standard entry period closed on 14 September. The deadline for late entries (which attract an extra fee of £193) is 5pm BST on 21 September. Entries after 21 September will be accepted only in exceptional circumstances.

You must pay the following fees online when you enter for the exams via your 'My CIMA' account:

 

Operational and management levels: £75 per paper.

Strategic level: £81 per paper.

T4 Part B: ¬£101 on paper; £145 on PC. 

Resit pilot exams: £125.

 

CIMA does not accept cancellations and will not refund fees. To request changes to papers or exam centres, email exam.changes@cimaglobal.com. The fees for changes are as follows:

Between 14 September and 5pm BST on 21 September: £62.

After 5pm BST on 21 September (in exceptional cases only): £83.

 

Pre-seen material for T4 part B and the strategic level papers

The pre-seen material for November's T4 part B Case Study exam can be downloaded from www.cimaglobal.com/t4preseen. The pre-seen material for the¬†strategic level papers is available at www.cimaglobal.com/strategicpreseen. 

 

It is your responsibility to download the pre-seen material and familiarise yourself with it. A 'clean' copy will be provided in the exam, along with further unseen material. You cannot take any notes in with you.

 

Details of the relevant tax rules to paper F1 are published on CIMA’s website at least six weeks before the exam and will be reproduced in the question paper.

 

The results for September's T4 part B Case Study and resit pilot exams will be sent by first-class post or airmail on 22 September. Results will also be emailed to students who registered before 15 September to receive them online via their 'My CIMA' accounts. The institute cannot give out results on the phone or to personal callers at any of its offices.

 

You can download September‚Äôs papers free via your 'My CIMA' account. Model answers will be available by November. 

 

Post-exam guides for the May 2011 professional level papers are available to download from www.cimaglobal.com/studyresources. September's post-exam guides will be available in October. 

 

A script review service is available for the three strategic level papers and the T4 part B Case Study. It is available only if you scored between 40 and 49 marks (20 and 24 credits for T4 part B) in the paper for which you want a review.

If you entered for September's exams, you'll be able to enter online, without having to pay a late entry fee, for any November paper-based exams for which you're eligible. You will have from 22 to 28 September to do this - no later entries will be accepted. Do not enter before receiving your results for September.
